To all the self harmers out there...

This post goes to all the self harmers there, to all of you. No matter if you do it once in a long while, or if you do it every day; if you've recently started to do it, or if you've been doing it for years; if you do it a lot of times, or if you do it a few times; this is for ALL of you, there's no exception. If you self harm in any way, stay here with me for a moment.

What I want to say first, is that I'm not going to just come and say "don't do it". It's easy to say that, it's very easy to say it. But, it won't help you, and none of us will get anything with only those three words. So, I'll say the same thing but in a different way.

I don't know exactly wht you, the one reading this now, self harm. I don't know anything about you, about your life, or about what kind of situation leaded you to self harm. I don't know your age, your gender, your nationality, or anything else. There's nothing I know about you. But, still I have some things I can say to you.

If you're self harming, that means you're suffering, a lot. So, that's something I know about you. I know that  you're suffering a lot, you're going through a lot. I also know that (probably) you're going  through whatever you're going through alone. You probably keep everything to yourself, and that might be one of the reasons for your self harm.

As I know about self harm, I know that a few words can't help much. But, I really want you to know that, no matter who you are, no matter anything, you don't deserve that. You don't deserve that shit, and you're better than that. I know it seems like it helps you, but it really doesn't help you at all. There's nothing good you get from that, although it seems like you do. Truth is: self harming only makes everything worse.

Please, if you're thinking of harming yourself, please try to distract yourself. There are lots of things you can do instead of that. You can read, you can write down your feelings, you can draw, you can watch videos, you can chat with someone, you can phone someone, you can take a nap, you can take a bath, you can do some sport... you can do anything which is not harmful. It's much better, I promise.

And, if you've tried and none of those things seem to work, you can talk to me. I'm not the best adviser, but I can listen. I won't judge you, and I promise to try my best to help you :) You don't have to go through this alone, there are lots of people willing to help you. Stay strong <3

It's all for attention, right?

Suicide, eating disorders, self-harm, depression, pain, sadness... it's all for attention, right?

They wait until everyone's sleeping to fall apart and cry themselves to sleep, for nights... for attention, right?

They skip meals and throw up intentionally because they hate their body, and feel like the only thing they can do to change it is that... for attention, right?

They take a blade to their own body, they harm themselves in purpose, because of all the pain they're suffering, because how bad they feel, and then hide it from everyone... for attention, right?

They hate what they see when they look in the mirror, and can't help but cry because they wish they were someone else... for attention, right?

They feel like crying all day, feel like shit for no reason, but still fake a smile and pretend everything's okay, when nothing is... for attention, right?

They wake up wanting to die, the same way they went to sleep, wanting to die, just wishing the pain would end... for attention, right?

They hide all their pain from people, they hide the way they're feeling, because they think they don't deserve any help, although they do want help, not to bother people... for attention, right?

They're actually feeling depressed, but hide it... for attention, right?

They attempt to end their own life, or even take their own life, because they can't handle life anymore...

Still you say it's all for attention?
Maybe, you're wrong.
Sincerely, someone suffering in silence.

Little reminder...

I'm writting this because, sometimes, we all need some reminders. Some days, we forget to tell ourselves some things, and no one tells us that, so, I'm writting this in case no one told you some things you might need to hear/read.
I really hope you've had a good day, and you don't need any reminder, but, in case you're having a bad day, or you're feeling down for any reason, or whatever, I'll remind you this.
If you need it, you can save the picture to read it when you need or, message me if you want and we talk together :)

Hiding pain.

As it always happens when I write a post here, I don't know who is going to read it. However, there's something I would even dare to say. I bet that you've hidden pain at least once in your life.

That, so far, is definitely normal, and it's nothing but that.

We've all hidden pain, we've all faked smiles, we've all pretended everything was okay, and that we were fine when we were very far from that. Some people are better at it than others, but we all have done that. I have hidden pain, and you have too. I have faked smiles, and you have too. And so on...

That's okay. There are many reasons why we hide pain, fake smiles and pretend to be okay when we're not. I don't know exactly the last time you faked a smile, but I hope it was a long time ago. Why you faked it? I can't know that, basically because I don't know who you are. I'll give you an example by the way: I usually fake smiles in order not to worry or annoy people. There are many reasons more, but I decided to point that one out, because I know that there are many people out there who fake smiles and pretend to be okay for the same reason.

Now, I'm going to suppose that at this moment you're hiding pain. I hope you're not, but I'm supposing it. I want you to think of the reason or reasons why you're hiding your pain. Focus on them a moment.

Which are those reasons? Maybe you have no one to turn to, maybe you feel like you're annoying or worrying others, maybe you've been told something that stops you from telling someone you're not fine, maybe you don't know how to say it, maybe you've been doing it for a long time and don't know how to open up, maybe it feels like the easy thing to do... there are thousands of possible reasons.

I've got a question for you... who's the one who is negatively affected by this? Who's the one who suffers more doing that? Who's the one who, in the end, gets the worst part of doing that? Yes... sadly it's you.

Keeping everything to yourself for a long time usually causes you more pain. Because, you might even end up believing that nobody cares about you, or you're not important. That's false, of course. Asking someone for help, it's safe. It might be scary, but it's the best decision you can make.

Sometimes, only by talking to someone who cares about you, your problems became way easier to deal with. You can relieve pressure, you can get understanding, you can get a shoulder to cry on, you can get what maybe is the only thing you need... someone to show you they care about you and they want to help you. There are people willing to help you and to listen to you.

I talk from experience when saying that you won't get anything good from keeping everything to yourself, I can assure you it's not a good idea to keep it all for yourself.

Now I want you to think again if keeping all your problems to yourself is better or not... what do you think?

This post is to the boys...

This post goes to the boys. This goes to the boys who cry themselves to sleep, to the boys who suffer in silence, to the boys who are depressed, to the boys who are being bullied, to the boys who self harm, to the boys who skip meals, to the boys who have eating disorders, to the boys who find it hard to wake up in the morning, to the boys with broken hearts, to the boys who suffer from anxiety, to the boys who are suicidal. This post goes to every boy out there having a hard time for any reason, no matter what it is.

Most of the times, the world seems to forget that boys suffer too.

But, you're not forgotten by me. I know you're out there, suffering alone, and that's why I'm writing this post.

I'm writing this post to let you all know that, no matter how lonely you feel, you're not alone. There's someone out there who loves you, someone who cares about you, someone whose life wouldn't be the same if you didn't exist. I know life's hard, really hard, and sometimes we go through some really tough stuff that makes us believe that there's no way out and things are never going to get better. But, that's not true. Things are really going to get better, but you have to be there to see it. Just keep fighting. One of the best things you can do is to find someone you trust and open up, let them know how you're feeling, it will make you feel so much better and you'll get support during this hard time.

If you feel like you have no one you can trust, or you don't feel comfortable talking to people around you, you can contact me or any support websites that there are online. Remember you're not alone.

To the young and hopeless...

I'm going to guess that if you're reading this, if you decided to click in this post, you're young, and maybe you're hopeless as well.

If you're happy or you're hopeful, you might find this boring or depressing, so you can go :) However, if you're young and are feeling hopeless, you could stay with me a little bit. It won't be much, I promise.

Yesterday, I made a video dedicated to the hopeless young people out there, and, it doesn't even last 4 minutes, so, if you have 4 minutes, I think you should check out the video. I know what it's like to be young (I'm young) and to feel hopeless as well, so I know what I'm talking about.

If you liked the video, please give it a thumbs up and feel free to share it with anyone young you know who's having a hard time, hopefully it can help someone out there :) Also subscribe for upcoming videos like this one about other different topics!

I hope that the video has helped anyone and I really hope you all are doing good and having a good night! Stay strong <3
